Giuseppe Salvia, 25 years of adventure parks in Italy

In the early 2000s Giuseppe Salvia and a group of friends brought a brand new idea from France to Italy: adventure trails in the woods.

1. The first in Italy

To leave, they decided to find a location in a tourist area close enough to tourism but surrounded by nature and greenery. San Zeno di Montagna, a few kilometers from the beaches, was the perfect choice and still today attracts thousands of athletic tourists from all over the world.

2. The Dad of Italian adventure parks.

Giuseppe doesn’t like being the center of attention but we can certainly define him as the Italian father of this discipline which over time has taken root throughout Italy. By now widespread everywhere, many of the Italian adventure parks have taken inspiration and ideas from the innovations of Giuseppe Salvia.

In 20 years a few million “adventurers”, nature lovers, have crossed our paths…

3. The Active park

“Right from the beginning I was attracted by the idea of an “active” park where the tourist did not passively undergo the attraction but himself became the actual protagonist of the action and entertainment. I believe that the success derives precisely from the fact that there is no age to keep fit and this park is perfect for the whole family with easy routes and more challenging ones.”

An exceptional staff…

Many do not know that our multilingual staff is also an intensely trained staff. All the kids who work at the Park are enabled for Rescue, i.e. they are able to climb and help customers in difficulty in real time.

You are in good hands

Any problem you may have during a journey you will be assisted from the ground by our staff “boys” who will guide you to overcome obstacles and, if necessary, can easily intervene physically and, through the prepared escape routes, get you back to the ground without any stress. Rescue tests are scheduled for the whole season to enable even the “new signings” of the Staff to intervene quickly and safely.

3. Work with us

If you think you have the requisites to become a member of the STAFF, contact us by phone and we will gladly evaluate you and if you pass our test you can become one of our “Guardian Angels” of the Park.

What to bring and how to dress…

It is useful to know what is the appropriate clothing to be in total safety.

1. Clothing

The recommended clothing is sporty with trekking shoes or sneakers. Pants or shorts also recommended for our athletes to avoid clothing that can impede movement or get stuck when overcoming obstacles.

2. Gloves

Very important for the safety of your hands which could get injured. If you have protective gloves, bring them with you otherwise our staff will provide you with new gloves at an affordable price. For some years now (after the covid 19) gloves have become a “personal” accessory so if you don’t have them you will have to buy a pair of suitable ones here at the Park.

3. Helmet and harness

To tackle the routes you will clearly be equipped with a professional harness and helmet. The equipment is sanitized after each use. Our staff at the Equipment area will assist you in dressing your equipment and will teach you how to use the “Click.it” safety hooks. During the briefing you will be instructed on how to tackle the courses and how to overcome obstacles.
